This is one of the best cookie recipes i've come across - and i'm quite the cookie monster! I believe it was fate that I stumbled across this recipe and it has truly rocked my world! I have to share it - cuz sharing is caring and these cookies can only bring happiness!

This year has gone so quickly, I can't believe we are in December again! It's the time of the year when people start relaxing and going on holiday, the shops are filled with Christmas decorations, people are at the beach until late at night and it's party after party! I really love the festive season!

This is also the time of the year that I start reflecting back on the year to see if I have achieved everything that I wanted to in the year.

This was a great exercise to play with photography and illustration. The aim of this challenge was to choose a public figure and use only their quotes to illustrate them. I had 90 minutes and here are my results:

The Challenge:

This was a layout challenge with a twist. The instructions specified the dimensions, the amount of words in the title, quote, main content and legal text as well as the dimensions of the picture. I also had to come up with a name and logo for the brochure that was for a juvenile diabetes treatment plan. For Part 1 - I rolled a dice to determine the amount of columns to use in the layout and put it all together. For Part 2, i had to increase the logo size by 5cm and roll the dice again and adjust my layout accordingly. I had 60 minutes to complete this challenge, my heart was racing, and I really enjoyed it.

Color plays a huge role in all of our lives. It can be the make or break on the top that we want to buy or it can make your mood a little lighter or it can even make you hungry!

When it comes to designing with color, much consideration should be spent on the right colors or the combination thereof.

The right color for a brand can enhance communication efforts, it can create the right response, therefore increasing profit.
