This year has gone so quickly, I can't believe we are in December again! It's the time of the year when people start relaxing and going on holiday, the shops are filled with Christmas decorations, people are at the beach until late at night and it's party after party! I really love the festive season!
This is also the time of the year that I start reflecting back on the year to see if I have achieved everything that I wanted to in the year.
Here are some of the accomplishments of 2011:
- Finally got my driver's license (at 23 it's about bloomin' time!)
- Got a car – *I love my Figaro*
- I up-skilled my resume by completing my Emarketing Professional Certificate (many late nights but definitely worth it!)
- I finally finalized a logo for myself and I learned that I am my most difficult client
- My big brother got married (not my accomplishment but still worth mentioning - it's always good when the family grows)
It's been an incredibly busy year and at times stressful – I couldn't have done it without the people in my life, so if you are reading this – a big-super-duper-massively-uberly-over-the-top THANK YOU!!!
So what does next year hold? Well, I definitely need to get around to coding my site's design! I'd like to take on more creative projects after normal working hours to grow my portfolio and I'll simply have to master mobile websites, after all, I have to keep up with the industry! I've also recently discovered the joys of cooking (I think that Jamie Oliver is an angel) – I've always enjoyed baking but cooking is really appealing to me now - so watch this space I’ll be posting the successful recipes here!
I think 2012 is the year to try more new things, be adventurous and jump in the deep end – after all we only live once! So who's coming with me??
